I am trying to generate a CHM file using the HTML Help workshop, and keep getting the error listed below. It does not matter how simple the example, it always throws the same error.
I have searched the web, and have not found anything that would help. The most common cause I can find is <h1> tags with the <alignment> tag in them, and I have checked, and none of my HTML files have any <h1> tags.
I do have 40gb of disk free, so I do not think that is the problem.
Microsoft HTML Help Compiler 4.74.8702
Compiling d:\My Documents\XML Documentation Comments\HTML Help\Test.chm
HHC6000: Error: An internal file could not be created. Make certain there is enough disk space on the drive where you are compiling your file.
HHC5007: Error: Fatal navigational compilation error. This is likely the result of an invalid contents (.hhc) file.
The following files were not compiled:
Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
